I went to my first Oxy dance last night! It was a Superhero/Villain theme, and while people were supposed to dress up, nobody’s costume was as awesome as mine and my friend, Sienna’s: Poison Ivy, the Lady Villain from the Batman comics portrayed by Uma Thurman in Batman and Robin. We braved torrential downfalls of frigid rain, but we still looked fantastic. 
I have to admit, we did not look the same after the party.
We had a Guitar Hero evening to usher in the new year.
And then we went to Disney Hollywood Studios where Josh and Aylia had a blast (twice) on the Aerosmith Rockin’ Roller Coaster.
And Aylia strutted her Hollywood style at the Tower of Terror.
We took the Winter Park Scenic boat tour a few weeks back. The lake shores are almost entirely the back yards of very expensive private homes, so the most scenic aspect of the trip is the narrow canals connecting Lake Osceola, Lake Virginia, and Lake Maitland.

Thanks to the folks at our server (eboundhost.com), we are now running the latest version of WordPress. That allows us to use a “plugin” that makes it so we can have the following cool effect with our pictures. Click on this one and check it out. I’m still working on how to make it so we can just have a bunch of thumbnail images instead of these full-size ones.

Here’s a picture of an alligator on the Little Econ Greenway, a nice park along the Little Econlockhatchee (yes really!) river that has a bike/pedestrian trail funning for about 8 miles through Orlando. But mostly this post is so I can try the new WordPress plugins that allow pictures to be uploaded full size and expanded by the viewer.
